1. Black brook runs below the gravel terrace west of Wall. 2. These have originated from the river gravel terrace that partially survives beneath Tong Bank. 3. The sand and gravel terraces are made up of pebbles with flint, quartz and quartzite. 4. The soil of Pessac-L�ognan is composed of gravel terraces with sediments from different geological eras. 5. The core of Bampton is on gravel terraces formed of Summertown-Radley or Flood Plain Terrace deposits. 6. The gravel digging in the Ice Age gravel terraces all over the Swiss Plateau covers the demands of the construction industry. 7. The river Steyr on the west side of the community is embedded in deep carved gravel terraces with few sand banks. 8. Remains of a further gravel terrace containing cherts and flints to a depth of lines the east side of St George's Hill. 9. A narrow gravel terrace runs north west from Wall to a point south of Pipehill where it merges into an area of Boulder Clay. 10. Except for a gravel terrace on the western side of Golofnin, there are few, if any, terraces or benches in this area.
